Liputan6.com, Jakarta Intel officially launched its newest graphics card series, Intel Arc B-Series (code name Battlemage). This series comes with the promise of high performance but is still pocket-friendly, targeting gamers who are looking for an enhanced gaming experience without having to dig too deep into their pockets.
The two main models introduced are the Intel Arc B580 and B570. These two graphics cards are equipped with modern gaming features and architecture specifically designed to accelerate various AI tasks.
One of the main advantages of Battlemage is the presence of Intel Xe Matrix Extensions (XMX). This advanced AI technology is the foundation for XeSS 2, a technology suite that promises improved performance, smoother visuals, and better responsiveness in games.
Intel Vice President and General Manager Client Graphics, Vivian Lien, claims that the latest Intel Arc B-Series GPUs come with significant improvements for gamers.
“This GPU offers leading performance and an extraordinary 1440p gaming experience with XeSS 2 (second generation ray tracing engine) and XMX AI engine,” said Vivian, in a written statement, Tuesday (10/12/2024).
Compared to the previous generation, Intel Arc B-Series GPUs offer 70% better performance per X-core and 50% greater performance per watt.
The B580 GPU, when compared to the Intel Arc A750 GPU, was on average 24% faster at 1440p resolution, and up to 78% faster on some games.
