True story
Of film 13 Hours starring John Krasinski has left a deep impression on Netflix subscribers. The thriller follows six members of the Annex Security Team as they work to protect the U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya, from a terrorist attack. The story is based on the book of the same name by Mitchell Zuckoff, which in turn was inspired by the true events of September 11, 2012 when the American consulate was attacked.
Lots of attention
13 Hours has been in the Top 10 for four weeks and was viewed no less than 4.9 million times in the week of November 25 to December 1. In addition, the film is a Top 10 hit in 43 countries this week. The thriller was directed by Michael Bay and was not a great success immediately after release. With a budget of $50 million, this true story only managed to gross $69. That’s it 13 Hours one of Bay’s least successful films. Be that as it may, Netflix subscribers don’t seem to care about the earlier setback.
