The State Security Secretariat began the surveillance operation in the vicinity of the New Bus Station, one of the strategies announced by the governor of Jalisco, Pablo Lemus, to avoid disappearances in the area.
The head of the state corporation, Juan Pablo Hernández, said that the operation will be permanent, mainly in the last weeks of the year when the influx of people increases during the Christmas season.

“The operation will be permanent, especially now that the Christmas vacation season is approaching.we know that more people can come. “We have information about young people who have been registering a disappearance in the vicinity of the Truck Station, which is why we are making adjustments to the strategy.”
The state secretary explained that the objective will be to work in coordination with the municipal police, the state police, the National Guard and the Mexican Army, to increase the presence of authorities, improve perception and for people to have the confidence to approach generating complaints in case of suspicious acts.
Juan Pablo Hernández explained that there will be a security module thatin addition to receiving information and requests from citizens, It will serve to connect to the video surveillance cameras and coordinate with the C4 of Tlaquepaque and the state C5.

He added that they will emphasize young people who are disoriented and will approach them to prevent them from being victims of plagiarism and deception by criminals.
The operations will be inside and outside the New Bus Station in all modules to determine if there are suspicious acts.
