The interpretation of Snape’s role has also already been considered, with Paapa Essiedu being mentioned as a promising candidate. Sharon Horgan was reportedly being considered for the role of Minerva McGonagall, and Rachel Weisz was also mentioned here and there. Meanwhile, actor Brett Goldstein is cited as the current favorite for the role of Hagrid.
