Hiroyuki Ikeshita, assistant director of “Shangri-La: A Strange Land” who participated in the production of “Major League” and “The Wizard of Oz”, passed away

The official website of “Shangri-La: Opening up a Strange Land ~The Dung Hunter Challenges the Masterpiece~” announced today (5th) that assistant director Hironori Ikeshita passed away on November 6th. “During the production of “Shangri-La: A Strange Land”, the assistant director Mr. Ikeshita devoted a lot of effort to this work. Hironori Ikeshita was born in 1978. He has entered the animation industry around 2000 and has been involved in original painting, painting supervision and other positions. He has served as the animation director of the second season of “Major League”, the animation director of “FAIRY TAIL”, the original artist/artist director of “Senki Zessou SYMPHOGEAR G”, the original artist of “White Album 2”, the original artist of “ALDNOAH .ZERO”, Performed in “Bungou Stray Dogs”, and served as assistant director/original painter/storyboard/actor in the “Shangri-La: A Strange Land” animated series.
