Netflix has revealed that it is getting the first hand on Little Brothera brand new comedy film that can count on two proven protagonists. The story revolves around a real estate agent whose life is turned upside down when his eccentric ‘little brother’ suddenly shows up.
Family against will and thanks
In the spirit of Daddy’s Home (2015) and similar comedies about awkward family relationships, this newly announced project looks set to become another genuine crowd pleaser. Netflix has managed to get Peacemaker actor and retired wrestler John Cena (who will retire from the so-called WWE events in 2025) and comedian Eric André for the two leading roles.
It is obvious that the stately Cena will play the real estate agent who sees his well-organized life disrupted, and that André will appear as the younger brother who reappears after a period of absence. Further details remain a matter of speculation, as the film is still in an early production phase. Uncharted creator Ruben Fleisher is involved as a producer.
Unfortunate incident
Cena and André know each other partly Eric André Showin which the DC actor has previously collaborated. In an infamous 2020 episode, André suffered a very unfortunate concussion after an incident involving Cena. Last year, the comedian contributed his share to the animated sequel, in which he provides the voice of John Dory.
