The National Minimum Wages Commission (Conasami) determined to grant a 12% increase to mini salaries, as reported this Wednesday, December 4, 2024 during the morning conference of President Claudia Sheinbaum.
In a session held this Tuesday, which concluded around midnight, the organization defined said adjustment, which would come into force as of next January 1, 2025.
In this way, the general minimum wage, which until now is 248.93 pesos per day, 7,470 pesos per month, will rise to 278.88 pesos per day, that is, 8,364 pesos per month.
In the Northern Border Free Zone, $374.89 will go from $419.88 and in the General Minimum Wage Zone it will go from $248.93 to $278.80 pesos.
This increase will impact 8.5 million working people, details Marath Baruch Bolaños, Secretary of Labor and Social Security.
