Morgane, aged 13, has disappeared since Monday morning in Pabu, in Côtes-d’Armor. That day, she did not go to her school, the Albert-Camus college in Graces. An investigation has been opened into a worrying disappearance. Where is the research? 20 Minutes takes stock.
What means are deployed?
The research brigade from the Guingamp gendarmerie company is on the bridge, but also soldiers from the Rennes research section.
Two police dogs were called. They followed Morgane’s trail from the home to the Castel Pic district of Guingamp, where they lost track of her. Divers were hired to probe the Le Trieux river, from the weir, located in the center of the town, to the former Plouizy sewage treatment plant. A helicopter from the Rennes air section was deployed on several occasions.
What does the research reveal?
The watercourses near the home were surveyed, as well as a water point in the commune of Pabu. Searches on foot, by bicycle and in vehicle were carried out by the gendarmes. Hunts were also organized, notably this Friday with the participation of hundreds of volunteer citizens. In vain.
Searches carried out at the family home and other homes of his relations proved unsuccessful.

The family and friends were heard. Morgane’s friends are all heard, methodically.
What are the first elements of the investigation?
A dispute arose between Morgane and her parents during the weekend which preceded her disappearance, concerning the use of social networks. After “a heated discussion”, his father broke his cell phone and took his SIM card. Morgane stayed at home on Sunday and left the house Monday morning to go to college. According to them, she left without money or a bank card and had no business.
According to the prosecutor, the teenager “had never run away in the past”. And according to one of her friends, she was also able to indicate on social networks that she would not come to class on Monday.
