Minister of Communications and Digital Meutya Hafid visited the PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi (Emtek) office at SCTV Tower, Jakarta, Tuesday (26/11/2024).

Accompanied by protocol and three expert staff, Meutya Hafid arrived at 10.00 WIB at the company which operates in the media and digital platform sector. Meutya Hafid was welcomed by the Managing Director of Emtek, Managing Director of SCM and Managing Director of SCTV Sutanto Hartono.

Also present during this visit were company leaders and a number of media editors under the Emtek Group. On this occasion, Sutanto explained about the television industry which is currently in a challenging condition.

According to him, Minister of Communications and Technology Meutya Hafid’s previous background in the television sector and understanding of the digital landscape could make discussions more precise and appropriate to the context of the discussion.

Apart from the condition of the television industry, the meeting between Emtek and the Minister of Communication and Technology also discussed the digital content industry to publishing, in this case news portals to video streaming and OTT services.
