When talking about the cooperation between SEGA’s classic blue hedgehog “Sonic” and the VTuber girl group, publicity ambassador Xu Shen Qinyin will come to mind, but this time it is “Sonic” who has found the English group hololive English to cooperate, at Taiwan’s Animate Cafe Taipei Ximen will host a theme cafe from December 18, 2024 to January 14, 2025.

The members of the “hololive English x Sonic&Friends” animate cafe this time cover the first to third phases, including IRyS, Ninomae Ina’nis, Ouro Kroii, Shiori Novella and Koseki Bijou, each wearing a stylish jumpsuit and a character doll, in order: Knuckles, Sonic, Tails, Chat and Amy.

“Sonic & Friends” is an online animation series launched by SEGA in 2023. It is updated in the community from time to time in the form of short videos and audios. Each character is transformed into a cute two-headed body proportion performance. This collaboration with hololive is also a Q-version appearance.

The official details of the event have not yet been announced. Although reservations are not required for the Anlimate coffee shop, reservations are usually required for theme stores. Special discounts, peripheral products and admission methods will be released later.
