The General Hospital of the West, known as Zoquipanwas renewed by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Public Works (SHOP), which invested 1,105,687,840 pesos in infrastructure and equipment in this health space.
This transformation of the Zoquipan hospital, after 46 years without being intervened, guarantees specialty and highly specialized medical care in adequate facilities, and with cutting-edge equipment, for the most vulnerable population of the Entity.
In addition to the infrastructure, there is Jalisco Insurance, the electronic clinical record, a 93% supply of medicine and qualified medical personnel.
The works include the construction of a new Outpatient Clinic building with 50 specialty offices on the first and second level and administrative offices on the second level; as well as the remodeling of the Hospitalization area of Gynecoobstetricsconstruction carried out in three different stages.
The Secretary of Health, Fernando Petersen, pointed out that among the works to highlight were the hydrosanitary, electrical, gas interventions, and the warehouse, which were the main points to be renovated. Basic infrastructure for a hospital was also renewed, such as the construction of a new machine room, the acquisition of an additional emergency floor for the outpatient consultation area and the warehouse, and eight bathroom modules for patients and staff.
