“We will be talking with Trino, with the rector (Karla Planter), with Marisol, what more we can do for the FIL. The budget that we sent to the Legislative Branch already includes the constitutional budget of 5 percent (for the UdeG), however, this budget we do not include the FIL or the FICG or Papirolas within the constitutional 5 percent, that is, they will have a additional support than that which the State Government will give for the organization of these three major events. The FIL, the FICG and Papirolas will have the support of the State Government independent of the constitutional budget. It is direct support”said.
Therefore, the governor-elect reaffirmed his support for the FIL organization, pointing out that “the FIL is not only a treasure of Jalisco and Mexico, but of the entire world and it must be cared for and preserved.” Therefore, Lemus promised that in the years that he is governor, he will attend the FIL.
By the way, Pablo Lemus recognized Spain’s contribution to the world of literature and its relationship with Mexico.
