Concerts, events, shows… Since Friday November 29, volunteers have been hosting the 38th edition of the Telethon throughout France. This year, they will have a major challenge to meet: collect over 92.9 million euros, to do better than in 2023 and thus finance medical research into genetic, rare, progressive and seriously disabling diseases. France Télévisions is mobilizing. In partnership with Radio France, France Télévisions is putting on the colors of the Telethon for thirty hours Friday and Saturday. Under the sponsorship of singer Mika, the objective is to collect as many donations as possible to finance medical research.
Only one number: 3637. The telephone number 3637, whose calls are not premium rate, has been open since Thursday for donations. It is also possible to make a donation online, by going to the dedicated page.
Nearly 93 million euros collected in 2023. The volunteers will have to work hard to do better than the 2023 edition, which raised 92,905,533 euros, according to figures published by the AFM-Téléthon association. This was the best result since 2015.
