The Council of Representatives of the National Minimum Wage Commission (Conasami) will hold an ordinary session on November 28 in which it seeks to consider proposals for minimum wage increase by 2025in the government of Claudia Sheinbaum.

How much will the minimum wage increase in 2025?
Current projections suggest that he increase in the minimum wage in 2025 is equal to or higher than the average annual inflation rate, meaning 3.5% based on the 2025 Economic Package. The Scheinbaum administration seeks a 12% increasewhich would lead to the goals on basic baskets.

Zone general: From 248.93 pesos per day (7,568 pesos per month) to 278.80 pesos per day (8,364 pesos per month).
Northern Border Free Zone: From 374.89 pesos per day (11,246.7 pesos per month) to 419.87 pesos per day (12,595 pesos per month).
