Musical relationship
Seasoned musician Jackson Maine (Bradley Cooper) discovers – and falls in love with – struggling artist Ally (Lady Gaga). She has almost given up on her dream of making it as a singer, until Jack puts her in the spotlight. But even as Ally’s career takes off, the personal side of their relationship breaks down as Jack wages an ongoing battle with his own internal demons.

A Star Is Born is directed by star Bradley Cooper and the film won an Oscar for best music in 2019. Besides Cooper and Lady Gaga, the other roles are for Dave Chappelle, Sam Elliott, Anthony Ramos and Alec Baldwin.
