Based on Presidential Decree 174/2024, the task of the Director General of KPM is not only to convey information, but also to be a liaison between government policies and community needs.

In addition, the function of the Director General of KPM includes the preparation of norms, standards, procedures and criteria in the field of public communications and media.

Molly also carries out the task of providing technical guidance and supervision in the field of public communications and media.

Other functions include monitoring, analysis, evaluation and reporting in the field of public communications and media.

Apart from that, the Minister of Communication and Technology also appointed new officials in other directorates, such as Brigadier General Alexander Sabar as Acting Director General of Digital Space Monitoring.

Others, Wayan Toni Supriyanto as Acting Director General of Digital Ecosystems, and Ismail as Acting Director General of Digital Infrastructure.

With this change, it is hoped that the Ministry of Communication and Technology will be more responsive to the challenges of the digital era.
