Microsoft stated on its official blog that the Windows 11 24H2 version will cause some Ubisoft games to cause the computer to become unresponsive when starting and loading, and may even cause the screen to go completely black.
These affected games include “Assassin’s Creed Viking Age”, “Assassin’s Creed Origins”, “Assassin’s Creed Odyssey”, “Star Wars Desperados”, and “Avatar: Pandora’s Frontier”.
Microsoft stated that in order to protect the player experience, computers with these games installed will not receive update notifications for the Windows 11 24H2 version. Players are also advised not to perform manual updates.
Ubisoft first released version 1.4 update file for “Star Wars Desperados”. This update file can ensure that computers with Windows 11 24H2 version can run the game, but it will cause the game performance to become worse.
