The elected president of the United States, Donald J. Trumpannounced today that as of the first day of his government, January 20, will impose 25 percent tariffs on Mexico and Canada.
The Democrat said he will sign an executive order through which he will impose tariffs on products entering the United States from these two countries.

“On January 20, as one of my first executive orders, I will sign all the necessary documents to charge Mexico and Canada a 25 percent tariff on all products entering the United States and its ridiculous open borders,” Trump said .
Trump said the tariff will remain in place until results are seen on security and against fentanyl trafficking. Additionally, it will only stop the tariff if borders are closed.

In the publication, the Republican accused both countries of being responsible for illegal migration and drug trafficking entering the United States.
“Both Mexico and Canada have the absolute right and power to easily resolve this long-simmering problem. “We hereby demand that you use this power, and until you do, it is time for you to pay a very high price!”Trump said.
