YouTube Shorts are More Attractive, Users Can Create Video Backgrounds Using AI

Liputan6.com, Jakarta – YouTube is again making new breakthroughs for creators in Shorts. The Dream Screen feature was previously only possible background picture, now you can make it background AI-based videos.

Quoting TechCrunchSunday (24/11/2024), this new YouTube Shorts feature is available thanks to technology from Google DeepMind, Veo, which is capable of creating 1080p video clips with various cinematic styles. How to use it is also easy.

Users only need to open the Shorts camera, select the icon green screenthen click Dream Screen. Enter text like “Candy landscape” or “Magical forest with a stream”, select the animation style, and click Create.

Then, your users will find several video background options that are ready to be used to make the content even cooler.

After selecting the Shorts video background, users can also immediately record a video with that background. YouTube says this feature is perfect for creating a creative atmosphere.

Not only that, in the future YouTube also has plans to provide a feature for creating independent six-second video clips directly from the Dream Screen.

The Dream Screen feature is now available in the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. It is not yet known whether this feature will also be available in other countries, including Indonesia.

Interestingly, the Dream Screen feature could be one of the advantages of YouTube Shorts compared to TikTok. Because, currently TikTok can only create AI-based image backgrounds, it hasn’t yet reached videos.
