President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo will meet next December 4 at 1:00 p.m. in the National Palace with the mothers, fathers and relatives of the 43 normal students of Ayotzinapa, who have been victims of forced disappearance for 10 years, this was confirmed by Vidulfo Rosales, lawyer for the victims’ relatives.
EsIt will be the first meeting of President Sheinbaum Pardotwo months after assuming ownership of the federal Executive.
It was learned that this Sunday the relatives of normal students will have a meeting to find out the details of the meeting.
As president-elect, Sheinbaum met – privately – with relatives of the 43 Ayotzinapa normalistas on July 30 at the Mexico City Museum.
Upon leaving that meeting, The then president-elect expressed her commitment that she will not shelve the case and will attend to her demand for justice and reach the truth about the events of September 26, 2014, in Iguala, Guerrero.
On August 27, the relatives of the normalistas broke off the dialogue with the then president Andrés Manuel López Obrador, meeting for the last time before the end of his term, without resolving the case of the forced disappearance of the young people as he had promised.
THAT
