With extraordinary struggle, Indonesia managed to win the overall champion title, led by the victory of the MLBB Women’s national team who managed to bring home a gold medal.
The team consisting of Venny “Fumi” Lim, Cindy “Cinny” Laurent Siswanto, Viorelle “Vival” Valencia Chen, Michelle “Chell” Denise Siswanto, and Vivi “Vivian” Indrawaty appeared to dominate against Cambodia in the final with a landslide score of 2-0 .
Vivian, captain of the MLBB Women’s team, also expressed her pride. “We are playing to raise the Red-White at the highest peak in the world. “Hopefully this achievement will be an inspiration for young Indonesians,” he said.
Apart from the success of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Women team in winning a gold medal, there were also significant contributions from other teams competing in WEC 2024.
