Public transportation: Claudia Sheinbaum supervises Trolleybus work


Yesterday, President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo supervised the progress of the construction of the elevated trolleybus from Santa Martha Acatitla to Chalco, a work that connects the State of Mexico with Mexico City.

“This morning we supervised the construction of the elevated trolleybus from Santa Martha Acatitla to Chalco, which connects the State of Mexico with Mexico City. I was accompanied by Governor Delfina Gómez, and the Head of Government, Clara Brugada,” he wrote on his social networks.

On October 25, Jesús Esteva, Secretary of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation (SICT), reported that the connection of the Elevated Trolleybus on the Santiago Acahualtepec section (where the provisional terminal operates) with the final station of Santa Martha will be ready in March of 2025.

In the conference of President Claudia Sheinbaum, at the National Palace, the official pointed out that the pending viaduct is already finished and the Santa Martha station is completed. “The station has a part made by the Ministry of Infrastructure and another part made by the State of Mexico. In the section of the Infrastructure Secretariat, we will be concluding the station in December, and we require the return to be able to put it into operation, plus the electromechanical installation. This will be completed in March 2025 and will now be able to connect with Trolleybus Line 10, which will also have the connection to Río Mixcoac,” he explained.

Fake bill factory discovered in Mexicali

Among those detained is Luis PV, who was an analyst in the legal area of ​​the Superior Audit of Baja California, who had the counterfeit money in his home, between pesos and dollars, which totaled more than six million pesos.

The former official was linked to a case of nepotism, since he was hired by his own brother Carlos, then head of the highest oversight body of the State. The other detainee is Luis’s first-born son.

The authorities indicated that the two people who were trying to make a deposit in a convenience store were linked to proceedings, and will be tried for their alleged responsibility in the crime of using counterfeit currency.
