Not Just OpenAI, Elon Musk Also Sued Microsoft Regarding AI Monopoly

As reported TechCrunchthe amended lawsuit states that OpenAI is “actively trying to eliminate competitors,” including xAI, by making investors promise not to fund them.

“xAI has been harmed by the exclusive exchange between OpenAI and Microsoft,” the lawsuit reads.

Musk’s new lawsuit also names LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman and Microsoft Vice President Dee Templeton as defendants, for their involvement with OpenAI and Microsoft’s board of directors.

Regarding why Zilis was named as a plaintiff, this is because a former member of the OpenAI board of directors and current Neuralink director has repeatedly raised concerns about OpenAI’s deal being similar to Musk’s deal.
