Tecno Releases Megabook K16S, 16 Inch Laptop Priced at IDR 6 Million

Liputan6.com, Jakarta – Tecno is certain to start entering the notebook market, after previously being known as a brand smartphone. This was demonstrated by presenting the first K series laptop from the Megabook line, named Megabook K16S.

According to Tecno, the Tecno Megabook K16S is specifically designed for the younger generation who like entertainment and doing various tasks. Apart from that, this laptop also offers a thin and metal design.

“TECNO MEGABOOK K16S is present in Indonesia ready to help ‘Gen-Z’ or the younger generation to achieve more things, both in working, studying and enjoying entertainment,” said Tecno PR Manager Anthoni Roderick in an official statement received, Friday (15 /11/2024).

The Megabook K16S comes with an AMD Ryzen 5-7430U processor which is equipped with AMD Radeon integrated graphics. This laptop has 512GB SSD storage and up to 32GB RAM.

To support daily use, this laptop has a 70Wh capacity battery which allows up to 17.5 hours of use. This Tecno laptop has a 16 inch screen with a 16:10 ratio.

Tecno has equipped this laptop with 2W 4013 speakers so that the sound is up to 300 percent louder. This laptop’s audio capabilities are also supported by Tecno VOC Sound System and DTS.

This Tecno laptop has a 1MP front camera which is equipped with a Privacy Camera Shutter. Tecno also equipped the Megabook K16S with PC Manager software developed by itself.

This software helps with safer and faster data migration, and makes it easier to collaborate with certain types of Tecno cellphones. Talking about connectivity, this laptop comes with eight ports and supports RJ45 Ethernet with protection.

The Megabook K16S has a power button which can also be used to read fingerprints and a large touchpad. Pre-orders for this laptop can be made starting November 11 2024 at a price of IDR 5,999,000.
