It is rumored that the iPhone SE 4 will debut on the market in March 2025, exactly two years after the previous generation of Apple cellphones was announced.
Apart from better design and performance, Apple is thought to be equipping its newest cellphone with a new camera capable of competing with Android cellphones in the middle class.
Quoting Phone ArenaFriday (1/11/2024), reports said the iPhone SE 4 will likely be equipped with a 48 MP main camera, similar to the iPhone 15 and iPhone 16.
Even though it still maintains a single rear camera like the previous generation, this upgrade represents a big step up from the 12 MP camera on the iPhone SE 3.
Unfortunately, there has been no confirmation whether this model will carry the “Fusion” technology from the iPhone 16, allowing the camera on the cellphone to zoom 2x without a telephoto lens.
However, this feature could be an interesting addition to maximize the single camera on the new Apple cellphone.
Front Camera May Be Improved
Even though there are no specific leaks regarding the front camera, carrying a 7MP front camera like the iPhone SE 3 seems to be an inappropriate decision for the Cupertino-based company.
According to predictions, the iPhone 4 SE will also support a 12 MP front camera, more in line with current needs.
Detail Camera iPhone SE 4
- Main Camera: 48 MP (versus 12 MP on SE 3)
- Front Camera: 12 MP (versus 7 MP on SE 3)
Although information about the type of sensor is still not known in detail, the high resolution on the iPhone SE 4 camera is expected to bring better photographic quality, thanks to Apple’s image processing enhancement technology.
With this change, Apple’s new cellphone will be a big step for the company in strengthening its position in the mid-range cellphone market.
