Netflix may release a new Christmas movie every week this period, but Disney+ is also doing their best to provide subscribers with new adventures for the holidays. So today is the brand new Christmas movie An Almost Christmas Story (2024) can be seen on the streaming service.
Stuck in a Christmas tree
The Christmas film is based on a true story about a little owl that was rescued from the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree in New York in 2020. In the film, the curious young owl is named Moon, who accidentally gets stuck in a Christmas tree heading to Rockefeller Plaza. During his attempts to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, he meets the lost Luna. Together they experience a heartwarming adventure.
Natasha Lyonne
The voices are narrated by Mamoudou Athie, Jim Gaffigan, Cary Christopher and Russian Doll actress Natasha Lyonne and the film is produced by Oscar winner Alfonso Cuarón. An Almost Christmas Story is a so-called short film and lasts only 21 minutes. So you don’t have to set aside an entire evening for it.
