The report states that there have been 7,000 attacks per second on passwords. In addition, the cybersecurity picture is also getting bleaker, according to the report.

One of the main issues in the report is the surge in state-backed attacks. The same report also claims that several countries are behind many cyber attacks in the world.

These countries use hackers to steal data, cause damage, and spread ransomware.

The hackers are said to have large funds and access to better tools and training. This makes cyber attacks feel more sophisticated and compromises many systems.

Team Leader Security and Customer Trust at Microsoft, Tim Burt, said state-sponsored hackers are becoming more skilled and harder to stop.

The reason is that with more funds and technological knowledge, they can disrupt services, steal important data, and even change things online.
