Nvidia Boss to Erick Thohir: AI Can Improve the Performance of the Indonesian National Team and Football

For your information, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang came to Indonesia to be the keynote speaker at the Indonesia AI Day 2024 event organized by Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison with a number of partners, Thursday (14/11/2024).

On this occasion, Jensen Huang, who was the main speaker with BUMN Minister Erick Thohir and moderated by GoTo Group CEO Patrick Walujo, received a call from President Prabowo Subianto who was in Peru for a state visit.

While in the middle of the session, the telephone call came to Patrick Walujo’s smartphone. Previously, Patrick had informed the audience, Jensen, and Erick Thohir that he had to bring a smartphone because he was waiting for a call from the number one person in RI.

The call came from the District Secretariat, Teddy Indra Wijaya, or usually known as Major Teddy. After setting up the telephone connection, the call between Jensen Huang and President Prabowo took place.

For several minutes, the call went on until finally the call ended. Erick Thohir, Jensen Huang and Patrick Walujo also returned to the stage to continue the session.

In a telephone call, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang expressed his condolences regarding the eruption of Mount Lewotobi. Jensen also offered that the Indonesian government needed help.

“I hope, if there is anything we can do, please let us know. Your government is taking good care of me,” Jensen said in the recorded call.
