Samsung ViewFinity S9 Launches, Targeting Content Creators and Professionals

Liputan6.com, Jakarta – Samsung Electronics Indonesia officially introduced its newest monitor for the Indonesian market, namely the ViewFinity S9. This monitor is said to support the activities of content creators and professionals.

According to Visual Display Product Marketing Senior Manager of Samsung Electronics Indonesia, Ario Aditya, the Samsung ViewFinity S9 provides the best performance and visual experience through a 27 inch screen size with 5K resolution.

“With Thunderbolt 4 and Display Port connectivity, this monitor can also multitask to become a Smart TV as an entertainment device,” he said in an official statement received, Wednesday (13/11/2024).

With its wide area and high resolution, this monitor is able to provide the clarity that professionals need. So, users don’t need to zoom in when displaying high-resolution content.

This monitor has 99 percent DCI-P31 and 218 PPI, so the colors are richer and details can be displayed sharper. Having a brightness of 600 cd/m2, users can use this monitor in almost all lighting conditions.

ViewFinity S9 is strengthened by the Smart Calibration feature which can be controlled from smartphone via the SmartThings application. This Samsung monitor has been Pantone validated to produce more than 2,000 Pantone colors, including 100 Pantone SkinTone.

Equipped with a Thunderbolt 4 port and mini Display Port input, the monitor is capable of faster data transfer and has high compatibility with other devices, both Windows and Mac based.

Apart from that, Samsung said, users can also use it to charge various other devices with power up to 90W and transfer data at up to 40Gbps.
