But not all residents disagree.

“I’m glad someone is doing it,” one woman went so far as to say, while another mentioned that it didn’t “particularly bother” her.

The artist behind the effigy, for her part, is rather satisfied with her creation.

“I find it very beautiful. People should feel free to pass by and look at it, to take photos,” she said, without wanting to reveal her identity either.

The owner nevertheless explained the reasons behind this action.

“I was just frustrated. This is my way of showing my frustration. You know, if people don’t like it, too bad for them. As far as I know, I still have the right to freedom of expression, and until that is taken away from me, it will stay there,” she said.

The woman is not the only one in her neighborhood to voice her political opinions. The neighborhood is filled with political signs. She had also displayed this skeleton disguised as Donald Trump, a Halloween decoration that she modified, during the elections.

However, it was when she moved it to hang it on her garage door that the decoration attracted criticism.

“I saw him hanging. My first thought was that it was a bit too much, a bit excessive,” added the man who was interviewed.

Even women who had been more open at the first demonstration were more reluctant when they saw the Donald Trump puppet hanging on the garage door.

“She has her freedom of speech and, you know, like I said, hanging someone seems a little bit far-fetched to me, but I understand her feelings, so it’s up to her,” he said. one of them.

The owner, however, denied having “hanged” the model.

“It’s hanging because that’s the only way to hang it. It is hung around the skeleton and it is held on two hooks,” she said.
