This Tuesday, November 12, Omar García Harfuchhead of the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC), assured in the National Palace that the attack on the “Los Cantaritos” bar in Queretaroin which 10 people died and 11 more were injured, occurred due to the rivalry between two criminal cells.
In “La Mañanera del pueblo” by President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, García Harfuch revealed everything that is known: he indicated that The attackers arrived to directly attack a subject identified as Fernando “N”, In addition, there is already progress in research.
García Harfuch mentioned that they are cells related to the Santa Rosa de Lima cartel.
The Secretary of Security pointed out in the Treasury Room that among the 10 deceased people is Fernando “N”, related to a criminal cell: “Another person also dies who is possibly related to the same cell,” he said.
“It is a rivalry between two criminal cells, We are investigating in conjunction with the state government. On instructions from the President, today I am meeting with the governor of Querétaro (Mauricio Kuri) and we will keep you informed, there is progress in the investigation and we will be reporting,” he said.
He reiterated that there is one person detained regarding this attack and ruled out a relationship between this attack and the one recorded in a bar in Cuautitlán Izcalli, State of Mexico.
He indicated that the work continues with the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic (FGR)the State Prosecutor’s Office and the State Police.
