To better protect the sites of the November 11 commemoration, six stations are closed this Monday in Paris. On the metro side, line 1 is the most affected. In detail, these are the Boissière lines on the 6, Champs Elysées Clemenceau on the 1 and 13, Charles de Gaulle – Etoile on the 1, 2, 6 and the RER A, Franklin D. Roosevelt on the 1 and the 9, George V on the 1 and Kléber on the 6, which however reopened at 10 a.m. this morning.
Two perimeters to protect the ceremony have been installed and will remain in place from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., according to the police headquarters. The first is located near the Arc de Triomphe and the second near the Champs-Elysées roundabout. If you have to travel to these areas, be aware that your access will be controlled via pat-downs or even searches of your vehicle.
