This Monday, November 11, the President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaumreacted to the attack that occurred in a bar in Queretaro the weekend, and that left 10 dead and 13 injured. In the National Palace, during “La Mañanera del Pueblo”, Sheinbaum says that “Since the incident occurred, the Secretary of Citizen Security, Omar García Harfuch, has been in communication with the governor (of Querétaro, Mauricio Kuri), supporting all investigations and also the Armed Forces for all the support that the state of Querétaro requires” .
The President responded to questions about the attack on Saturday at the “Los Cantaritos” bar, near the center of Querétaro, considered a world heritage site for its architecture and a place where massacres do not usually occur like in other areas of the country.
The event caused a national commotion due to images of clients, including women, who threw themselves on the ground to avoid the bullets, while the governor of Querétaro asserted that the attack was “directed at criminals.”
The President confirmed that There is “a detainee and they were going for a person” the aggressors, but he indicated that tomorrow, Tuesday, there will be more details.
“Today the information began and tomorrow the entire cabinet of security and it will be able to give them more information about what is known,” he commented.
Mexico has recorded massacres during the first month and a half of the presidency of Sheinbaum, who took office on October 1, since just last week 11 corpses of merchants appeared in an abandoned van in Guerrero, a state in the south of the country.
