AQUAPLUS unveils “Praise of Xiangbai’s Indicator” and a completely new RPG, and restarts development of “Jasmine”

Japanese game developer AQUAPLUS (アクアプラス Co., Ltd.) has released a new RPG “project kizuna”, a remake of “ToHeart” and “うたわれるもの白への道典” (tentative translation, the praised person Xiang Bai’s indicator) and restarted development of ” “ジャスミン” (tentative translation, Jasmine), released these new animations, concept drawings and some production team information.

AQUAPLUS is famous for its love simulation games and cute girl characters. On the first day of the event, one of AQUAPLUS’s representative works “The Praised One” (commonly known as the “Praised One”)’s new work “The Praised One Haku’s Indicator” was released. Suga Munemitsu was the original story writer and screenwriter, mi was responsible for the character design, and the well-known beautiful girl original painting duo Manna Tree and Misato Mutsumi are responsible for the original characters, and Naoya Shimokawa is responsible for the music.

“The Lauded” was originally released on PC in April 2002. It was originally an adult-oriented sRPG with a Japanese world view. The story describes the encounter between a demihuman race with “animal ears and a tail” and the protagonist “Hakoro” who has lost his memory, and Hakoro led the people to overthrow the ruler’s resistance process. After being adapted into a TV animation, its popularity soared and it was serialized.

No further details have been released about the new work “The Praise of Haku’s Indicator”, which is expected to be released in the autumn of 2025. The theme song “月の风みあげて” (tentative translation, Looking Up at the Moon Boat) was written by Naoko Sugu and composed by Junya Matsuoka. Composed and arranged, sung by Japanese singer Suara.

Also announced on the same day was the new work “Jasmine”. It was originally a work that AQUAPLUS terminated development. It was first published in 2011. Due to many reasons, production was suspended in June 2015. Now it has officially restarted development. Kakuzu is responsible for character design, Suomoto Yuichi and Kawada. Hisashi is responsible for the script, and the details of the story have not yet been released. The concept image shows the straw hat girl standing on a forest path leading to a sunflower field, with the slogan “Summer That Never Ends”.

On the second day of the event, AQUAPLUS released the remake of the intro animation and game footage of the classic campus love adventure game “ToHeart” (ToHeart). The game is expected to be released on Nintendo Switch and Steam in the spring of 2025.

The adult visual novel “ToHeart” released in 1997 is based on the theme of campus love. It has been adapted into TV animations and other works, and a sequel “ToHeart2” was launched in 2004.

The remake of “ToHeart” will present full 3D characters, with Honjou Mizuno responsible for character design, and the character dubbing will also be reinterpreted by voice actors. Kamishi Akira will be voiced by Kana Ichinose, and the machine girl Marana will be played by Hina Utamomiya. Voice acting.

Finally, AQUAPLUS released a completely new game “Project Kizuna” to commemorate its 30th anniversary. It has the theme of “leaving no regrets and embarking on a bonding voyage”. It did not reveal any plot details except that the gameplay is RPG. The concept map depicts two scenes overlooking the sea. The boat is drying clothes and catches, and the round table on the deck is filled with sumptuous meals, showing a corner of ocean life under the clear sky.

The production team of “Project Kizuna” was announced at the same time.
