For the Liège public prosecutor’s office, it is infanticide. A 4-year-old child was found with his throat slit in his bedroom in Berloz, Belgium, during the night from Saturday to Sunday, reports Belgian media Sudinfo. Investigators suspect the mother of committing the murder.
According to the media, the tragedy occurred after an argument between the two parents. The father would have gone to sleep on the sofa after this heated exchange and, when he woke up, the couple’s car would have disappeared. When he went upstairs, he discovered his child’s throat slit. An investigation was opened and the two parents, both arrested, are being questioned in this context by the Belgian police.
