They locate the body of Alejandra Rivas, missing along with her 1-year-old daughter in Colima

Alberto Rivas, cousin of Alejandra Rivas Gómez35 years old and originally from the municipality of Tlajomulco, reported on their social networks that the body of the mother of a one-year-old baby was located in the afternoon. The whereabouts of his niece, María José Rivas Gómez, is still unknown.

Mother and daughter were declared missing on November 1, but family and friends filed the report on the 4th. Alejandra and María José left Guadalajara heading to Colima with the intention of visiting a relative, the search file indicates. Person Search Commission of the State of Colima.

At the moment authorities from the state of Colima have not commented on the matter and the information about the case has been shared by Alberto. In the search form, the number 31-21-31-38-09 was made available to notify of any data and/or information that may lead to the whereabouts of the one-year-old baby.

According to the State Registry of Missing Persons, In Jalisco there are 15,288 missing people. Meanwhile, according to figures from the Mexican Institute of Human Rights and Democracy (IMDHD), as of May 16 of this year there were 1,294 missing people.
