The comparison between Trump and Palpatine is not that new since a YouTuber had already had fun, in November 2016, by putting the former’s voice on a passage from Star Wars featuring the second.

After the attempted attack on Donald Trump, Trailerclub also “attributed” to him, on Reddit, the famous reply of the emperor: “The attack left me bruised and disfigured, but I assure you that my determination will not has never been so strong! »
However, Palpatine is not the only fictional character to whom the new president of the United States is compared: by probing the depths of the Web, we regularly see him as Donald Duck (first name required?), Scrooge (for his fortune? ) or Jabba the Hut (for his size?).
