After Havoc was announced by Netflix in 2021, we expected the film to be available now. But after a promised release in 2023, things remained quiet for a long time. Until now, the director is revealing when we can expect the action thriller starring Tom Hardy.
Finally a view of a release
Filming has been over for a while, but Netflix is not releasing the new film. Apparently a series of scenes had to be re-filmed. Director Gareth Evans says that post-production is now in full swing and that they still have a few months to go. He then hints at a release in the first quarter of 2025.
Ready for what will hopefully be a Q1 release next year. No trailer or promotional material will be released until the film is finished and mastered, so to temper expectations, don’t expect anything before the new year. Until then, excuse me while I continue working, posting about other people’s films (go Longlegs see!) and the occasional snapshot of my Labrador.
Criminal underworld and corruption
In the new action thriller, a battered detective must fight his way through a criminal underworld to save a politician’s estranged son after a drug deal gone wrong. At the same time, he unravels a deep web of corruption and conspiracy that has his entire city in its grip.
