The vice-president’s supporters will have to wait. At Kamala Harris’ HQ, at Howard University, in Washington, her advisor announced this Wednesday morning shortly before 7 a.m. (Paris time) that she would not speak this evening (Tuesday evening in the United States) but tomorrow (Wednesday evening for us, we’ll get there).
In this race for the White House, “there are still ballots to be counted, and we must ensure that every vote counts,” continued the member of the Harris camp.
Trump and his supporters in Palm Beach
If Kamala Harris is not expected to speak in the coming hours, Donald Trump could, on the contrary, speak quickly. He could do so in front of supporters gathered at a convention center in Palm Beach, Florida, not far from his Mar-a-Lago home.
As a reminder, at 7 a.m. this Wednesday morning (in Paris), the Republican leads the race towards the White House with 246 voters, against 187 for the Democrat, according to CNN (victory is obtained from 270).
