At the Parc des Princes,
“War on the ground but peace in the world. » Before deploying a large tifo throughout the bend to support their club, PSG supporters displayed a huge tarpaulin in the Auteuil bend to support Palestine and Lebanon, just before the kick-off of the match between Paris and Atlético de Madrid, counting for the fourth day of the Champions League.
Represented around the red and blue colors of PSG were a bloodied Palestinian flag, the flag of Lebanon, Jerusalem, tanks and even a person wearing a keffiyeh. During the first period, another banner was unfurled in the Auteuil bend to denounce the war waged by Israel. “Is the life of one child in Gaza worth less than another.” It was accompanied by another banner concerning the war in Congo.
This is not the first time that Virage Auteuil has shown its solidarity with Palestine. Last year, still in the Champions League against AC Milan, the CUP displayed several banners: “Middle East: may all innocent victims rest in peace. War crime in Gaza, what is the international community doing? » or “Paris counters all forms of terrorism. » But this is the first time that such a large tarpaulin has been formed.
