The day has come: millions of Americans are called to the polls to choose between the next two presidential candidates tiedin the surveys.
Democratic candidate and Vice President Kamala Harris and former Republican President Donald Trump, engaged for months in an all-out battle for votes, remain divided by 1.2% in favor of Harris, according to the latest polls on Monday, a advantage well within the margin of error.
Trump ended his campaign with a final speech in Grand Rapids, in the swing state of Michigan that he flipped again in 2016. For her part, Harris concluded by promising “get to work” if elected in Philadelphia, another battleground state where incumbent Democratic President Joe Biden won by 1.2% in 2020.
