A surge of unprecedented violence on the RER E platform. This Monday morning, four teenagers were injured with an ax on the platform of the Ozoir-la-Ferrière station, in Seine-et-Marne, we learned 20 Minutes from police sources. Among the victims, two of them were very seriously injured: one had his hand severed and the second was hit in the skull. They are, according to our information, around fifteen years old.
What happened?
The fight broke out on the RER E platform, shortly before 8 a.m., as the train entered the station. If the reasons for this brawl are still unclear, the hypothesis of a terrorist act was quickly ruled out, specifies a police source. Investigators favor the possibility of a settling of scores between rival gangs. For the moment, the perpetrators have not been arrested.
Investigators are working to collect testimonies from the numerous witnesses to the scene as well as analyzing the tapes from the RER station’s video surveillance cameras. A major device has been deployed around the station.

On its X account, SNCF indicated that “traffic is disrupted between Haussmann Saint-Lazare and Tournan-en-Brie (Seine-et-Marne) in both directions of traffic. Altercation on board a train at Ozoir station.” He was restored around 9 a.m.
