The president of the Political Coordination Board (Jucopo) in the Chamber of Deputies, Ricardo Monreal Avilareported that On November 4, the evaluation committees will publish the call for the registration of candidates for the Judiciary in the positions of judges, magistrates and ministers.
“This November 4, the call for registration must be issued,” said Monreal, referring to the process that will allow interested candidates to apply for these positions.
The deputy highlighted that a transparent and fair selection process will begin, which seeks to integrate profiles of high competence and commitment. He also stressed that Morena legislators assume their role as reforming agents in this transformation.
“We legislators have the obligation to become a reforming body and give way to a commitment at the polls that we acquire as citizens”he expressed, reaffirming the role of Congress in the advancement of this historic reform in “pro justice and equality,” he said.

Likewise, the legislator pointed out that, over time, citizens will realize that it was for the best.
“This process of historical transformation aims to strengthen the relationship between justice and the people, and advances the construction of a judicial system that responds to the demands of Mexican society,” he declared.

Ricardo Monreal celebrated that in just one month of President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo’s government, 39 constitutional articles have been reformed “all for the benefit of the people.”“.
The also president of Jucopo highlighted the participation of the Legislative Branch in a “unique stage” in which the country lives.
“We always maintained the need for a regime change and it was necessary to express it in the Constitution, in our Magna Carta. In just 60 days we have reformed 39 constitutional articles, it has been the most intense legislative period in recent decades.
“And the most profound reform is related to the Judicial Branch,” Monreal said this Sunday through a video published on his social networks.
He assured that the reforms are for the benefit of the population and that is why he understands the “resistance”, “anger”, “fear” and “insult” of what he called “conservative power” against President Sheinbaum.

The deputy indicated that in the coming days they will discuss, and where appropriate, approve, reforms regarding substantive equality, as well as elevating serious crimes such as extortion to constitutional rank; production and marketing of fentanyl and other substances; and regarding false invoices.
He added that Morena and its allies will legislate for animal protection and administrative reorganization for the extinction of autonomous organizations such as the National Institute of Transparency, Access to Information and Protection of Personal Data (Inai).
He noted that this week the call for the election of judicial officials will be issued and the modifications to the organic law of public administration will be ruled.
“It is up to us to continue with a more humane, fairer, more balanced country model,” he declared.
He added that the attacks against the legislature for the reforms have to be faced firmly in the face of “the reasons of the State.”
