The work must continue at the site with the support of the corresponding authorities until it is ruled out that there are no more remains buried on the property, in addition to identifying the human remains in order for them to be recognized and delivered to their relatives.

This is not the first time that a clandestine grave has been located in the Santa Ana Tepetitlán neighborhood. In February, another grave with at least four burial points was found at the intersection of Abasolo and Matamoros streets.
On September 13 of last year, one more point was found on the slopes of Cerro de Bugambilias, where groups of searching families found a grave from which at least 24 bags with evidence and human remains were extracted.
In July 2021, one of the first graves in the area was found, also located on the slopes of the Bugambilias hill, in Santa Ana Tepetitlan, Zapopan.
Then 36 victims were found, of which only 22 could be identified by their families.
