For your information, Samsung announced its newest flagship class tablet, namely the Galaxy Tab S10 Series, in September 2024.
Different from previous years, when Samsung released three models in this series: standard, plus and ultra versions, this year Samsung only brought the Galaxy Tab S10 Plus and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra.
Samsung apparently has a reason for this.
In a session with the media, MX Product Marketing Manager Samsung Electronics Indonesia, Taufiq Furqan, Taufiq said that the decision to present only two tablets, the Galaxy Tab S10 Plus and Tab S10 Ultra, was based on internal data about tablet usage.
“Based on internal data, the use of Samsung tablets is now increasingly towards larger screens, because now there is more content than before,” said Taufiq, some time ago.
He revealed that so far tablets have also been widely used to support entertainment needs or access entertainment as well as to carry out productive activities.
“Users like to watch entertainment content while they are away from home, and they need a larger tablet. So now the trend is starting to move to larger tablet screens,” he said.
The Galaxy Tab S10 Plus itself comes with a 12.4 inch screen. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra has a larger screen, namely 14.6 inches. As for the previous version, the Galaxy Tab S9 was the standard version of the three tablets flagship it has an 11 inch screen.
However, when asked whether he would present a standard version of the Galaxy Tab S10, Taufiq admitted that he could not provide further information.
