The collision between a truck and a compact vehicle this afternoon on the Highway to Morelia left two people dead.
The events occurred near the Las Cuatas gas station and in the direction from south to north on said road, in the municipality of Tlajomulco de Zúñiga.
The crash was between a Tsuru-type vehicle which was apparently hit by a Ford Lobo truck from the direction of Acatlán de Juárez entering the metropolis. The impact caused the car to also crash into a pole located in the area.
Elements of Civil Protection and Firefighters from Tlajomulco went to the point where they found two people dead and two more injured; The latter were taken to the Pedro Parra Centeno Green Cross to receive medical attention.
The driver of the truck was not at the point, He allegedly escaped.
Elements from the Jalisco Prosecutor’s Office arrived at the site to investigate the events and determine responsibilities.
