Tonight, Mayor Benito Juárez issued a last-minute call for a press conference urgent.
The mayor, Luis Mendoza, will make the announcement in front of door one of the Plaza de Toros La México, where will confirm the definitive closure of this venue and the Azul Stadiumalso known as Ciudad de los Deportes Stadium.
The decision was made after massive simultaneous events were held at both facilities, which violates the safety regulations in force in Mexico City.
Upon arriving at the Bullring, the mayor pointed out that it is his duty to guarantee order in Benito Juárez. Likewise, he reported that the decision was made together with the Head of Government, Clara Brugada.
According to Mendoza, Activities at both locations will resume only when they comply with regulations.
“Everything is for the well-being of the neighbors and families who come to shows of this type that do not comply with civil protection issues. My obligation in this mayor’s office is everything that has to do with order,” he indicated.
