One month and two days after assuming the Presidency of Mexico, President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo expressed that they came to government “to serve the people.”
Through her social networks, Sheinbaum Pardo shared an image of her in the National Palace, a historic site where she remembered her history.
He indicated that the National Palace was built during the colony on the ruins of the New Houses of Moctezuma Xocoyotzin and has been the seat of power and sovereignty of the Mexican people since Independence.
“Great figures in national history have lived and worked within its walls.”
“It reminds us of our past and why and why we came: to serve the people. I walk next to the Nezahualcóyotl garden,” he said.
