One candidate who withdraws, the other who is found guilty of 34 counts, invectives from both sides, two assassination attempts… Is there enough to say that the American presidential campaign will have been out of control? standard? Yes, no doubt, but the worst thing is that it didn’t stop there.
However, the campaign had started calmly. In June, the primaries placed Donald Trump as the Republican candidate and Joe Biden as the Democratic candidate. A start to the campaign, all in all without surprises.
But take a Joe Biden who, after a catastrophic debate against Trump, is forced to withdraw and nominate Kamala Harris.

Also take a Donald Trump who multiplies eccentricities and insults: “Kamala Harris is a crazy radical” or “a shitty vice-president”. And a Kamala Harris who responds blow for blow, calling Trump a “fascist” and a man “unstable, obsessed with revenge”.
Sprinkle it all with Elon Musk, Taylor Swift and Beyoncé and you have one of the craziest American presidential campaigns.
