There’s another one Star Warsseries is on its way, and Disney surprises franchise fans this afternoon with the release of a new trailer. Shall Star Wars: Skeleton Crew (2024) can measure up to in terms of reception Ahsoka (2023– ) or will it be more of a kind of ‘The Acolyte’?
Far from home
The adventurous science fiction series follows a group of children who get lost in the vast Star Wars-galaxy. In the search for their home planet, they encounter remarkable aliens and must constantly be on the lookout for new danger. The droid SM33 assists the adorable group of main characters.
From ‘Spider-Man’ to ‘Star Wars’
It became clear at an earlier stage that star actor Jude Law will also star in the series. He appears in the trailer as Jod Na Nawood, who lives in the galaxy during the New Republic and is highly sensitive to the power of the Force. Jon Watts (known for the past Spider-Man films and the crime comedy Wolfs (2024)) has been roped in to direct the series.
Are you curious if Skeleton Crew can somewhat measure up to its predecessors? The first two episodes of the series appear on 3 december on Disney+. The series will then continue on a weekly basis as we know it from the streaming service.
